just said my final goodbye to a best friend of almost 14 years, she's on her way to the vet with mom and dad for the big sleep now. she'll be all better soon :( FUCK CANCER!

thanks everyone for the well wishes. after having a full day to mourn, relief has set in, she no longer has cancer, no more dreading that awful day that every pet owner has to face. I'm also relieved there was time to spend together near the end and time for goodbyes, she was diagnosed with cancer 2 weeks ago. I still have two dogs that are her daughters, so a part of her still lives on.
