Why? Well, you can change your genes at any time. In the Canmephian Year 6000, gene tweaking is "nothing new" and gender is rather fluid. Think you're better off the other gender? With some cash and a weekend to waste, you can switch easily, get a new body, and your genes won't lie. You won't "fake" the chosen sex, you will be the chosen sex down to the genetic level.
