Megaplex and Camp NaNoWriMo by NightEyes

This has been a busy month for me. Anthrocon was at the beginning of the month and Megaplex was at the end of the month. In between, I've been doing a 30,000 word challenge for Camp NaNoWriMo. I'll be finishing that up tonight. (Only 735 words to go.)

I want to thank everyone who came to the two panels I hosted at Megaplex this weekend. Your questions were excellent, and I hope my answers were useful to your writing. I also got to attend the world building panel hosted by Khris Schnee who hosted a good panel himself. One of the treats of the con was getting to meet fellow Furry Writer's Guild members Vixyyfox and Searska Greyraven, who along with Khris attended my panels.

My next convention appearance won't be till next year at FWA in March. However, with the completion of the writing challenge, I have turned what was a stalled project into a short novel. That, along with a novella and some short stories I'm planning should keep me busy until the end of the year. In addition to FWA, I will be attending Anthrocon and Megaplex again next year. This time, I finally get to bring my boyfriend along with me to Anthrocon. After going to FWA and Megaplex so many times with me, we finally get to head up north together.

As a final note, I want to thank the crew from the Guild's cabin in Camp NaNoWriMo for an excellent month of writing sprints and challenge. We must do this again next year. I need to go write those 735 words now.
