I want/need to watch more animation movies! Any recommendations?
Disney, Dreamworks, and Blue Sky are totally valid, but chances are I've watched them already, haha.
BAD movies are valid as well. AND SHORTS.
her are some i like!
the secret of kells, tekkonkinkreet, the triplets of belleville, fantastic mr. fox, the iron giant, lilo and stitch, paranorman, coraline
that's all i can think of right now!
In my free time I've been learning how to make short animations (Nothing to show yet) but I've been watching Animated Music Videos for inspiration.
Then there's this short film that's just under ten minutes:
Yeasss. I LOVE animated music videos, gosh. I'll watch all of these ASAP!
I feel like sharing one with you too, it's from last year but I just found out about it about a month ago and I just. Blown away every time I watch it:

I have seen that one before but it does remind me this band (where I'm the only one local out of my friends group that loves) called Studio Killers. The song I'm thinking of a lot rougher than 'Easy' but try this one Ode to the Bouncer then there's Eros and Apollo these two are probably their breakout songs that pretty popular, that are their best animated ones.
But as you share my love of animated music videos here's my other favourites, some of these are more like guilty pleases as Animated Music Videos can vary a lot:
"Go with the flow" by Queens of the Stone Age
"2+2=5" by Radiohead
"Feels like we only go backwards" by Joe & Becky Sloan
"I've got that Tune" by Chinese Man
"What would Wolves do" by Les Savy Fav
"No Kind Words" By the Maccabes
"The Rifles Spiral" By the Shins
"Three Little Pigs" by Green Jelly
And three more animated shorts:
Danny Brown in "Gyped by a Crackhead"
Jiri Trnka's "THE HAND" (Just under twenty minutes, also shows it's age.)
The Backwater Gospel
Here's also the Show Reel for the University I'm wanting to apply to in two years after finishing with the local vocational college courses: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knwORdoSJA0
Have you seen Don Bluth's movies? They're not all great but they usually have some excellent animation. "The Secret of NIMH" is a must. "All Dogs Go to Heaven" is pretty good.
Oh, I'm not disagreeing.

Something else I like quite a bit....a BBC-produced adaptation of The Magic Flute, presented here in three parts on YouTube. I think the animation was done by the same people who worked on The Yellow Submarine.

And if you haven't watched The Yellow Submarine yet, go watch that too.
