Trello, Patreon, And other things by VenomousSoliloquy

So, for those who don't know, I have a Trello To-Do list now. C: It can be found here and you can see things I'm working on, plus things I've got coming up, things on hold, everything. Some of the commissions I've got coming are going to be... uh... adult in nature. So I may only post cropped or censored versions to the Trello. But otherwise, I'm enjoying this a lot. It's pretty easy to spend a couple of second, move the cards around, and add attachments of the art I am doing.

I may open some other Trellos eventually. Maybe ones having to do with charm crafting, and ones having to do with commissions only. We'll find out.

As for Patreon... I'm wondering on what people's thoughts are on it? Personally I think it's pretty awesome. And, eventually, I'd love to do my own Patreon. Since I'm actually seriously getting into doing stuff with my art now, like actually going to be making stuff out of it (prints, stickers, charms, etc), I feel like I might actually have things to give my patrons for helping me out. That, will probably still be a ways away, though. I have neither all my materials, nor a large enough customer/fan/client base.

And on to other things. I'm super psyched about some of the things I have planned to do and to buy. And I'm totally, mentally, dreaming of being able to go to conventions again, and being able to have art tables again, with more than just cruddy traditional originals to give. And possible tackle a couple of commissions. Hopefully everything works out over the next six months to a year. And somehow I find the money to get the things I want and need! Wish me luck.

Also... I'm thinking about opening up some small commissions once my to do list is sorta, kinda, a little cleaned out. lol At least of the important and overdue stuff. Things like chibis, headshots, maybe some waist/knee up stuff. I'm also going to buy some books and start practicing some stuff that has been giving me issues, or things I just have never understood. :| Even if I don't take the time to go to art college, I can at least teach myself some more stuff. 8U Let me be serious, though, I've never understood the full breadth of color theory. And dramatic lighting fucks with my head.

But, yeah. Hope everyone is doing well!! Weasyl seems really quiet most of the time.

Trello is pretty nice as long as you aren't viewing it on a phone or tablet x3 or at least, they always give me trouble on them.

Patreon is a pretty awesome thing, but can be hard to get off the ground, since it really requires some dedicated fans/clients.

As for weasyl being quiet... yeah, it is an unfortunate truth. :I there are active people, but there is still a large gap between daily viewers compared to other locations. It is still really new, though. So I don't really expect the numbers just yet.

I am also going to start getting into doing art myself. I keep saying that I will some day, but haven't really done anything but doodles at work here and there. But I am committed this time. I've got to do something. But yes, best of luck to you! I look forward to seeing more :D
