Where have I been this week?? by KajTaotsu

So some of you might have been wondering (I really doubt it, god Kaj, shut up) where I've been this week. Well~
Get ready to see a new sub-folder popping up under my regular photography filled with reds, oranges, browns, greens, cliffs, condors, and all around grandness BECAUSE

guess who just got back from visiting the Grand Canyon's South Rim with family and bf?
My parents, bf, and I took a week off and drove out to the GC this last week, and we just got home a few hours ago. It's been about 7 years since my family has gone and it was the first time for my bf, Nolow Nolow, to visit it. His reaction to seeing it was priceless, let alone it always blows me away at how beautiful the canyon is. It looks like a living painting in front of you. Seriously, if you haven't gone and visited it, I REALLY recommend putting it on your bucket list. I've yet to see visit the North Rim, but hopefully someday we will because from what I've heard and seen pics of, it's really different in biomes compared to the South.

But yes, expect a new sub--folder and canyon pictures galore to pop up in your inboxes! Hopefully I can trim down the 400 or so photos I took down to something a bit more reasonable...

So a question for all y'all that still actively or randomly check up on what I do, what's the one place you've always wanted to visit and/or your favorite place you have visited before?

Where have I been this week??

Holy shit :D fort worth, here. The humidity isnt as bad as houston, but its still nasty tbh

Man I haven't been to Ft. Worth in yearss. And yeah, that Houston humidity is aweful. Part of why I left was so my hair wouldn't go all fro on me whenever I stepped outside, haha.

    man, that sounds pretty great
I don't think I've ever visited anywhere particularly fancy, I mean I guess the Hopewell Rocks are pretty cool but I grew up with the bay so it doesn't seem that unusual to me :P

I've always wanted to see some really kickass mountains, like the Rockies or the Alps. May be a while before I can afford that kind of adventure though :P

okay so Ive been meaning to reply to this and look up that location and DUDE THAT IS AWESOME! I want to seriously go there now!
The smokies and rockies here in the US are pretty cool also. Least from what Ive seen, Rockies are more desert whereas Smokies are more pine/forested.

Yeah, it's pretty neat, especially if you've never seen the ocean recede and expose the earth beneath before.

I've always wanted to see what a desert is like. I'm not expecting too much, but, when you grow up surrounded by trees it seems like a good idea to see what the alternative is.
