Yup, no Anthrocon for me, this year. and myself are taking "The Copper Revolution" to a sci-fi convention called CONvergence, in Minneapolis. It's about the same size as AC, but, they paid for our flights, hotel for 4 nights and FOOD. I'm not spending a dime for this trip. We need to give them 200% for the amazing hospitality they are showing us, and we're not even there yet. Well, Matt is there. I'm leaving in about an hour.

The down side is I won't get to hang with my furry friends this weekend. I love playing Anthrocon. We always have a large, and very enthusiastic crowd at our concert.

The upside is, this is a whole new audience for us. This means, the hope of expanding our fan base. I don't want to work a day job anymore. If we get a decent crowd, and they like us, it'll open more doors at more conventions.

So far, after playing these new places, what little crowds we had started talking. It only takes a few to start spreading the word. Later, as we play some of these venues again, the audience gets bigger. That's our goal.
