So, I wrote a book- by RenonVesir
So, everyone, I don't really do this often, but I really need help over here.
I've been working on a project for over eight months now. I wrote a book. It's a light little contemporary fantasy piece set in Wonderland, and it focuses on a teenaged Alice and her attempt to rescue her sister from the Red Queen. Alice meets up with the Mad Hatter and they have an adventure together.
If this sounds like a story you would enjoy, then please look into it! If not, what I need is for people to signal boost and pass it along to friends who might like it. I know pop fiction isn't for everyone and I don't expect everyone to read it or like it. My mother is having thyroid surgery in the fall and my funds are really tight right now, but I want to be able to try and help her out.
I have been out of work for a while now and I really, really need the help with this. Freelance writing and artwork commissions are the only income I make now. I have to be able to pay my bills and feed my dogs. I'm not begging for donations. I just want people to see a project that I put a lot of time and effort into creating. Any help in that regard is really, really appreciated. Thanks to anybody who can pitch in anything at all.
Right now it's in ebook format, but I should have paperback editions for sale sometime soon. It will also be published to Barnes and Noble/iTunes.

I collect a lot of books in paperback (I love having bookshelves around my house). I'm looking for work now so once I get a job I'll wait for paperback to be available and grab myself a copy. Wonderland has been abused like a dirty hooker but this story sounds pretty damned amazing. Like how Kuroshitsuji never gets boring (cuz Undertaker is friggen insane... as is the Hatter)
I look forward to reading your book when it comes out in print! (can you post up a journal when it is? TAT I hate to ask this... otherwise I will never know... and this does sound pretty amazing)-
Thanks, man, those are some kind words. Yeah, a lot of the fairy tales/wizard of Oz/Wonderland stuff has taken its share of crap because they're literally copyright-free and anyone can use them. I'll certainly post a journal up when the paperbacks are available. Not everybody enjoys reading on a tablet, I know. :3

LOL I'm one of those older generations that don't have a tablet (I need to get with the times. Ebooks are easier for some artists to offer... b-but I have a love for paperback... it's really bad when you gotta move...)
Every anime I've seen has some kind of wonderland-like arc. Japan loves Wonderland for some reason. Ah it's true they are free to abuse. Just like Moonlight Sonata is lol. Though I like the integration of another character (Alice's sister) and more Hatter. Cuz Hatter is pretty bitchin. I have a bookshelf that is dangerously close to overflowing and no room for more shelves. I just keep finding weirder ways to pack them in there...
