Why am I not getting a Patreon? by Kompy

Why not Patreon?

Because....well, I honestly don't know what to offer as a reward incentive :(

I mean, I'd love to draw more frequently with an incentive, bonus if it's stuff besides just pokemon-related work (though that's nice too), but I'm not quite sure why anyone here would care, if that makes sense?

What can I give you guys that you'd be interested in getting from me as a patron? Honest answers, please.

No need to guess why the idea tempts me, though -- aside from a good excuse to draw more, it'd also be a way to help out around the house financially until I can find a job to help out with. As it is, I'm more or less a freeloader and that isn't exactly something I want to spend the rest of my life being, you know? I want to help get my family and friends nice things. I want to be able to help pay off my student loans and anything else that needs to be paid off already. I want to be able to eventually upgrade my laptop and tablet to better work on art. Maybe even afford to move to the States to be closer to friends and the like. That sort of thing.

But enough sap. Help me help you, guys. If I got a Patreon, what would make you throw in? What would you like as an incentive?

Pardon my cluelessness, but how does Patreon work?
Assuming I could get my own finances sorted, I'd be happy to give it a shot in part at least.
As for rewards, well, you could always offer adoptables, slots in group pictures, maybe even packs of art available as zips (or rars, maybe more fitting phonetically).

I fear the concept because I think IF people actually did give me money, they would feel entitled to calling the shots or something like that.
