So, after nearly a year and a half hiatus, I've decided to reopen commissions. However, because I have a serious issue with procrastination and am still stressing from real life stuff (such as the death of my nephew - but honestly when am I NOT stressing about something, amirite?) I'll only be opening up five slots at one time. Once those five slots are all done, I'll open up five more. I intend for these five slots to be anything the commissioner desires; from full paintings to sketches though it's pretty obvious that full paintings will take longer. I'm hoping I can force myself to work on sketches and smaller commissions in between whatever bigger ones I get, but we'll see. I'm surprised at how easygoing and receptive my clients have been in the past what with everything I have going on on a regular basis. It seems that anything having to do with money or a career, even if it's of my own making, stresses me out to the point of dysfunction. But I am currently working through this, confronting my anxiety and finding out exactly why it affects me the way it does. I'm tired of it sitting in between me and what I want to do with my life and that's be a great and productive artist (and hopefully one day, published writer). I don't expect my Muse to cooperate every single day, but I know that I can't wait around for inspiration to just smack me in the face when I need to be working to pay my bills. This is why I'm going to try my best to structure my art work days. I also intend on putting together some livestreams since I think it will help with keeping my schedule.

It's either this or get another retail job because that's really the only other thing I'm good at as far as making money goes.

So I've contacted the first four people on my waiting list from over a year ago as I already accepted a fairly sizeable commission from someone not on the artsites I visit regularly. So that takes up Slot #1. If any of those four other people I've contacted refuse, I'll be posting a notice here.
