Every so often I get a message from someone (usually a note or an IM) asking if I stole my character design from the artist Fathips on FA...
The answer is... definitely not. I've been around a long time, and this character is more than two years old now. If you were to poke through my furaffinity gallery or scraps, you'd see a lot of my early concept sketches as I was designing it.
So please shove off with that accusation. It's unwarranted, hurtful and unfair =/
On reflection... maybe I just need to make more, post more. Get better at drawing hugeness and fat. Just... draw more in general.

Who the heck is Fathips? Haha.
It's so easy for two people with similar ideas to find each other on the internet and accuse each other of ripping off each other's idea. Don't worry about what people say. Your oc's color scheme among other things about it is very common and the hecklers probably point it out because they're uncomfortable with the aforementioned fact of life that it's to be expected that one might find an oc online that resembles theirs.
