Man. The video game companies have been killing it at this years E3! I'm excited for so many of the games coming out. Zelda, Uncharted 4, LittleBigPlanet 3, Super Smash Bros, Yoshi's Woolly World, Arkham Knight, and Ori and the Blind Forest. Nintendo even had Robot Chicken do a skit for them at E3, and it was kept clean. I'm going to share 3 videos that are my favorite from all of these games.

The Ori trailer is perhaps my favorite one of all. This trailer reminds me about why I love games so much. Games are fun. I always play games for fun. But I really love getting into the story of a game. And...games deliver in a way that books and movies can't (Those mediums are still incredible and amazing, but this is why I love video games). A game is like a book, except that you're controlling the character and actually interacting with the world. It's also like a movie, except that you can look around and visually focus on what you personally find interesting. I can get into a game on a surface level, but I can also go much deeper. And...it's just everything. The art, the story, the presentation, the atmosphere, and to top it all off, the music. The music is able to drive home certain scenes so well. I never view these aspects as more important than each other. I consider them all equal. And when they work in harmony, it's beautiful. It's a masterpiece come to life. The end to the trailer of Ori and the Blind Forest is exactly like that. It's a beautiful masterpiece that fully encapsulates the viewer at that point and draws them into the world. My gosh I love video games.
