so i like to point out for you guys, from time to time I review books for Christopher Hart, and this is one of them.

How To Get Published As A Manga Artist: Everything You Need To Turn Your Passion Into A Career

Chris opens chapter one with the topic that I see most artists talking about when it comes to taking up an art career; Art Schools. He lists the pros and cons for this choice as well as talking about setting up a portfolio for such. Also he gives alternates to a 4 year university. In chapter two he explains the process of getting published. Chapter three talks about fan comics [doujin], property and conventions and the like. Chris closes the book with some encouraging words.

All in all I find this to be a great and helpful book. I have read others on this subject and unlike Chris, they make it seem like its not worth going through the hassle of trying to get published.

I recommend this book to those who are looking into getting published.
