Taking a look at my New Year's resolutions last year, I think I've done a pretty good job living up to my goals. :) One year ago, I set out to:

1. Be a better husband, and never again fall prey to a temptress.
   
2. Repair the damage caused by my "breakup" with my former best friend.
   
3. Return to the old me.

With #1, that's going very well. Although I've come to accept that my heart is capable of loving more than one person, my wife has been there with me through my best and my worst, and is still here. She comes first, always.

There isn't much I can do about #2, because sometimes people are unwilling to let go of the past, and that's something I can't change, so I simply let them go. They aren't worthy of my time. I have friends that care about me, so they're the ones that deserve my attention.

As for #3, that one was definitely achieved and built upon. I rediscovered myself after spending 6 months high on a temptress' pheromones, and then took what I learned from the experiences and grew as a person. I have no regrets in life, because I always turn the bad into something positive. I thank my enemies, because they teach me to better appreciate my friends. I thank those who have wronged me, as they have taught me what NOT to do to others. You can't bring me down!
