  oh charity has a harness and is completely recall trained (my friend used to take her out for flying displays)
  
  this was a freak accident where her roommate left a window open and, whilst she was out, she was spooked by a jay and a hawk.
  
  liz is very, very careful with her babies!
  
  (her roomie feels like an idjit and is paying for her vet bills, too)

      Especially exotics! Part of me was terrified somebody might hold her hostage for lots of money but luckily it was her neighbour's place she flew into.

Oh whew, what a relief!! So glad to hear this. I know I'd be devastated if I lost my caique or my tiel so I hate to imagine someone else going through that.
