Just got done vending at Furlandia 2014 with Cervidian94 yesterday and I gotta say it was a lot of fun! It was the first anthro convention I've ever attended and most everyone was really nice. Saw some really neat artwork, some impressive craftsmanship with the fursuits (one fellow even had animatronics in his that gave him full facial expressions!), and got to do some art trades! I got a couple of lovely prints, a pocket-watch, and a plush dragon made by StarDapple on DA! (It was one like these: http://stardapple.deviantart.com/art/Frosty-Dragon-Babies-looking-for-a-warm-nest-432723660 ) Also an artist I really admire, Kacey, was there and I got to chat with her a bit too. There were lots of of folks that came by our table to chat as well, both about art in general and about storytelling. Which is fortunate since I spent a fair bit of time blathering about my upcoming webcomic, which I will announce formally here soon in an upcoming journal.
