Phew, well, let's start off with the fact that everything went extremely well. I shouldn't have been as worried as I was. Again, as I said, I wasn't worried so much about my Grandma (she always liked my mom over my biological dad and she was married into the family) but I wasn't sure with my Grandpa.

First off, lots of hugs were to be had ^ ^. My parents and I showed them around the house, told them all the cool stuff my dad did to fix it up. Showed them some pictures, talked a bunch, the works. We made some food for them, originally my mom wanted to make a linner meal for them. But they were going to go to my uncle and aunt's house right after ours so that was a no go. But we put out a cheese platter, spinach dip and crackers, and I made these cool turkey, cheese, and tomato pinwheels using biscuit dough. Most successful! They REALLY loved all the food and were grateful for it! Grandma even said that my mom was always the best hostess ^ ^. Oh, we also made some blue meanies (Blue Hawaiis) which were awesome ^ ^. That was a favorite between my mom and Grandma..... and apparently they used the drink on my gums when I was teething haha.

Mainly my mom, grandparents, and I chatted. My dad did too, but he's just a shy individual (hey, even manly men can be a little shy/introverted). My Grandparents complimented him on the house and loved some of the pictures we showed them of what we do with the yard on Halloween. At one point, when my dad was kinda by himself, Grandpa even told him to come over and join us ^ ^.

My Grandparents never brought up "Oh you should go see your father" convo or anything. They know, I knew Grandma knew but not so much Grandpa. See, my Grandpa loves my biological father because it is his son, but he knew what he did to my mom (well, some of it) and he understands. He told us of course it was hard at first, but he's been fine with it for years. My Grandpa really did like my mom too, which was great because so many people in that family were against her. Also found out that my Grandpa REALLY hated my biological Grandma (who, after I found out about all the bullshit, didn't like either). Of course I knew they didn't like each other- else why would they split up? But he HATED that woman. And DESPISED her first new husband (who thankfully I never met- very long story). They also aren't too fond of my biological father's new wife. They agreed with us, she's a bitch.

The best part of the evening though, was when they thanked my dad for raising and taking care of me. Man, you don't even know all the feels I got when that was said <3. Normally I wouldn't care but I do love my Grandparents- they were always good to me. I mean shit, they STILL send me xmas cards to this day and birthday cards. I always talk to them too. So it was kinda important to me that they accepted me, my parents, and my decisions. And they did.

The worse part however was when political talks happened. I was like NO NO NO, DOES NOT WANT THIS. Luckily it didn't last too long haha!

On top of everything, my Grandparents got me a cool new animal hat for winter ^ ^. It was a joke, cause the last picture I sent I was wearing my fox one. This one was a beaver. And of course, I wouldn't expect less from my Grandma, when Grandpa went to take a picture of my mom, my grandma, and I while I was wearing my hat, my Grandma outs and says "Look! This picture has THREE beavers in it!" THE LOOK ON GRANDPAS FACE AFTERWARDS..... HAHAHAHAHA. ^ ^
