I have all the Star Fox games, I just never finished Adventures or played anything after that. But that copy of Command sitting in my stack of games looks nice and apparently Assault is good so I've decided to play them all to get the full experience.

Beat the original Star Fox just now. On course 3. The goal I wanted to accomplish when I was 14 couldn't be done until I was 34. 20 years of war raging across the Lylat System against Andross. What was different this time was shooting became instinctive, I did nothing but dodge projectiles and was surprised to find that at the same time the bosses took heavy damage. I must have landed massive volleys without thinking about it, and how I was able to aim so precisely while maneuvering is beyond me.

unsure if I'll be able to play the others to completion. I wasn't even planning on winning the original, but I was making it deeper and deeper into the game each time so I went for it.
