~Commission Specials~ Frenzy sketches and sketch pages! by Sparkyopteryx

It's been a while since I've opened up for quicker and more loose stuff; I don't know how long I'll be open for these, but if they're fairly successful it'll at least be for a few weeks. (Note: As usual, I will not do anything of an adult nature or anything that requires more than a Moderate +13 rating, although I will consider artistic nudity). Here are the details for the different types:

Frenzy sketches: For those that have been familiar with my work for a while, you've seen me do more than a few of these already. They're quick, loose, thigh-high to full body character sketches characterized by rough and free lines with energetic or action-oriented poses. I can do these in about an hour or less and get them to you the same day in most cases. I don't mail these commission types. I generally prefer to pick the pose, although you can give me ideas that fit the character to help. I only ask $7 for these.
Examples~ (keep in mind these are somewhat dated skill-wise): https://www.weasyl.com/submission/34248/absinthe-frenzy-sketch & https://www.weasyl.com/submission/69973/commission-omari-frenzy-sketch

Sketch pages: These can vary somewhat depending on type of character and how much (or how little) you want, but I typically do most of these on two sketch pages and compile them together, although I can also do more by incorporating three or even four pages instead; each additional page adds $5 to the price. I can mail these if you're interested. I have a few separate types:

Portrait/expression compilation: $12 These are single-page, and I can generally fit three or four "faces" on one.

Stylized sketch pages: $15 These are two-page deals in a stylized, loose or vaguely "toony" style, generally a mix of expressions and a few poses.

Standard sketch pages: $20 Two-page, with various poses and/or expressions in pencil and pen; generally somewhat more detailed than the stylized ones.
"Fancy" sketch pages: $25 Two-page with poses and expressions, with at least one or two of them fully colored and rendered.

As always, either note me here or email me at greedyabsinthe@hotmail.com if you are interested! Make sure to include relevant character references and/or descriptions, and as always I take payment through PayPal only (my PayPal email is the same that I listed above). I'm really hoping these take off! And as always, thank you for your time and consideration.

Wow, those frenzy sketches are awesome for that price. Going to poke through your gallery and see if I've got any compatible characters to offer up.

There is a substantially high likelihood I will be asking for a Frenzy sketch, but first I need to pick a character. You'll know when I do.

Heya featherfluff. How long you gonna be keeping these open?

    • Link

Not entirely sure, but I'd estimate it to be at least a week, but I'd like for them to be open a little longer than that, since the frenzy sketches and especially the sketch pages are fun, relaxing and quick. If these gain momentum, I'll definitely keep them open for more than a week.

And who you callin' featherfluff, you mangy reprobate?!

See, the frenzy sketches are what I was wanting. I've always loved energy and lines in a drawing. I'll have to get one once I get the funds.

And you know very well who I was calling featherfluff you featherbutt you're the only one on this page that qualifies both descriptors. "Mangy reprobate" could be half the people here!

When I used to do them a lot a few years ago, I noticed quite a lot of people liked them (and not just because of the price tag); so many people really like subjects and things with free-flowing lines. There's got to be a psychological case study somewhere in there...

Fine, allow me to expand on it somewhat: A rufous, logophilic mangy reprobate. All things considered, I'd say that's more a compliment than anything.

"A rufous, logophilic mangy reprobate. "
Oh yes this is going right in the catchphrase box.
