Sooooooooooo for these past weeks I've been getting back into traditional work again, practicing on stencils and coloring, etc.
Line work isn't mine, since my boss just gave me some flash work of theres to practice on.
Coloring however is my doing.
Bought myself this beauty, the only things I'm missing now is a power pack and a foot pedal. Got all of the other accessories and tons of needles.
So by the end of this week I'm going to be finishing up my stencils. Next week my boss is putting me back on observation mode to be on the side and watch others tattoo away, because the week or two after I'm going to be tattooing my own clients.
I'm only going to start out small simple tattoos and work my way up as the months go by.
In the mean time if any of you are interested in getting a free tattoo from me, hit me up a note. (I live in Wisconsin)
Also you'd be happy to know, I got a new addition to my skin.
Since tattooing requires both of your hands, I sadly couldn't tat this myself on my arm.
Tomas did the tattooing and I drew the design.
This is only the first session. In the next sitting, an alien planet system will be added going down towards my wrist, more color saturation, and adding some stars and color to the radiant effect behind the cats head.
You can see the other artists work on facebook.
That's... that's actually pretty sweet. I'm in Wisconsin for a bit longer and have been thinking about getting a tattoo for a long time, but they are really damn expensive. I think they're totally worth the price, but it's just one of those things I've decide will come later in life. I'll have to think about this. Sick design, though.
Well there's no charge, it's just the fact that I'm new and I need the experience. Let me know if you change your mind. I have some people already lined up, so if you wanted me to inform you when I have another opening I'll let you know.
Sure, that sounds great, thank you!
