Need Input Please! by nijipie
Hello all!
I need input as I am working on doing a fundraiser to get some much needed dental work done. Over the weekend I think I fractured a tooth and it hurts to chew and I know I need to get the work I have putting off before it gets bad.
The input I need was I was thinking about starting a gofundme. I noticed there are reward tiers or levels in the gofundme and wanted to see if anyone would be interested in donations for art sort of situation.
I was thinking things like... being an 'art slave' for a certain duration, doing comics, adult pieces, chibis, etc etc for certain levels as thanks for donating to the medical junk.
If something like that interests you, please let me know. I am also currently looking into new jobs and have been working on sketchbooks every night for my patient commissioners.

Honestly I would like to get it running as soon as possible. I think I will keep it up until I make enough to get my dental work done.

Seems reasonable to me! Well, hopefully I will be able to contribute something when the time comes. I REALLY hope you get your dental problems taken care of soon!
(And I hope you get more people commenting besides me. Maybe you could upload a promo image? I know a lot of people seem to skip over journals.)

Yeah I think I will do a promo image and possibly put something over on Furaffinity as well and try to cast a wide net. I don't want to sound greedy at all, it just makes more sense to do it that way.
I figure the bigger items such as the art slave and comics will be on a bigger tier than things like chibis, I need to figure out the donation amount I will do those for and go from there.
I am crossing my fingers that this and a possible new or second job work out and get my teeth to working order. (why can't teeth heal like other bones?? Uff!)

Yeah, much as I have distaste for FA, I have had to use it for promotional stuff for myself and friends too. It's a pain, but I guess it's going to be a while before it loses its stranglehold on the fandom.
I think "art slave" should definitely be top tier myself. Comics below that, and chibis below that. I'm not sure where adult items would fall, if you're still thinking of doing that (I'm guessing, based both on what I've seen of your work and the fact that it merited special mention up there that it's pretty rare for you to do adult work!)
I wish you the BEST of luck with the job. I wish teeth would just heal too. But then again with all the sugary, acidy punishment we put them through, I guess I'm not surprised that they don't have as easy a time mending. T_T

Hmm hmm I was thinking for the 'art slave' tier I can offer different amounts of 'hours' ranging from like..10-40 or something.

Oh gosh yes BEST of luck with that! Government jobs are great.
And varying hours are also a good idea! You could do quite a lot with this actually.

Art slave for all the chibis lol! I've seen art slave auctions do pretty well.
