A good friend would die for you... by Rusco Istar

But greater unconditional friend has no one than this: the one who, by greatest affection, puts their life in the line to save you, conquers death and stays alive so you wouldn't have to mourn their death.

Also, during yesterday's service I confirmed my suspicion that the bible is the word of God in the sense that it isn't THE definitive truth coming from the mouth of God but a collection of books about and inspired by God. In a nutshell, it is a document of mankind failing to understand what the universe is all about, first thinking that all the things are made for them and for their indiscriminate use. Then, in an act of supreme anthropocentric behavior they declare that they are the very image of whatever created the universe followed by exposition; pages upon pages of wrong-doing and the obvious consequences.

In the second act, a man discovers that we are all partly divine, shards coming from the entity that created it all that he calls "The Father". We are brothers and sisters called upon this morally imperfect realm that well could be perfect if we mold it that way, a kingdom of SOCIAL EQUALITY. With this maddening (and seemingly true) insight he self appoints as Son of God and sets to teach others how to claim this birthright. Some people follow him and unsurprisingly some people call him heretic, turn him in for being politically subversive and the empire executes him. He effectively attains immortality to the point that even two millennia after, people still talk about him, believe him alive, worship him as if he was God instead of just a servant. Completely failing to understand the message, the most vocal minority of "followers" turn into bigots and Antichrists, spewing more damnation than salvation in the countless years to come.

In the third act... anticlimactically there is no third act, only editorial and a blurry convoluted incomplete cryptic draft vision someone has about the third act, fan-wank so to speak. Unlike a text book and more like a source of wisdom it becomes dated, static, liturgy, a seemingly lifeless literature; practically dead unless the reader truly studies when, why and where it was written... But in a world constantly more materialistic that throws what cannot be measured, more scientific, more politic, less religious, no one reads an outdated book about morality and spirituality. The ones that keep it close hold it too holy to be updated. Unfortunately it seems to randomly become alive in some peoples' lives and when it does so, it sounds admonishing... Some base their god-send authority on the literal words of that old book, reenforcing the opposite of what that man found two thousand years ago, social inequality devours the world, and the powers to be like that. Others make a holy war against this unfairness, killing their cosmic sister and brotherhood "in the name of God"...

I don't know the mind of the creator and no one does. The book still says that we still know nothing about God...

A good friend would die for you...
