My Top 10 Cartoon Conspiracy Theories by JohnStripedfur

For as long as we all can remember growing up, there's always been cartoons. Back then, we never think much about them. Why they exist, why the characters are what they are, no representations, or explanations. We just sat back and enjoy them.

But, when we grow up. We look back at many of the cartoons we grew up with and notice something odd about them. We start to think about those oddities and try to think of a way to explain them by using logic that our grown up minds created. And that's when we created conspiracy theories on the cartoons themselves. There's dozens of many conspiracy theories on many animated movies and shows and even a few characters. Each one sometimes makes sense while others are too creepy not to be ignored.

And here's my top ten favorite cartoon conspiracy theories.

  1. The Pixar Universe Theory - All the movies created by Pixar are in the same universe and all are interconnected with each other. And each one has been set in either the past, present, or future. Brave is set in the past, Toy Story is in the present, and Cars is in the future.

  2. The Land Before Time Death Theory - All the main characters in The Land Before Time died at the end and The Great Valley is heaven.

  3. The Apocalypse Theory on Adventure Time - The world in Adventure Time takes place in a post-apocolyptic world where Jake is the only surviving human.

  4. Angelica's Imagination Theory from Rugrats - All of the babies in the show Rugrats are part of Angelica's imagination. Chuckie died in a car crash, Tommy died still born, and the twins were aborted. She created this world to cope with the harshness of reality.

  5. Donald's PTSD Theory - Donald Duck suffers PTSD after his time volunteering in World War 2 and could explain his anger management issues.

  6. The Imaginary Theory from The Powerpuff Girls - The entire superhero world in the show was all just playful imaginations from the Powerpuff Girls. Considering they are in kindegarten age.

  7. Mental Illness Representations Theory from Winnie The Pooh - All the characters in Winnie the Pooh are representations of mental illness. Pooh (Eating Disorder), Rabbit (OCD), Tigger (ADHD), Piglet (Anxiety), Owl (Dyslexia), Eeyore (Depression), Kanga (Social Anxiety), and Christopher Robin (Schizophrenia).

  8. The Seven Deadly Sins Theory of Spongebob Squarepants - All the characters in the Spongebob show are representations of the Seven Deadly Sins. Spongebob (Lust), Patrick (Sloth), Squidworth (Hate), Mr. Crabs (Greed), Plankton (Envy), Gary (Gluttony), and Sandy (Pride).

  9. The Purgatory Theory of Ed, Edd, & Eddy - All the characters in the show Ed, Edd, and Eddy are all dead and they are stuck in purgatory.

  10. The Kopa Theory of The Lion King - The cub that we see and the end of the first movie is actually a boy named Kopa, not Kiara. Kopa was a troublemaker growing up and always causes mischief to everyone in the kingdom. Then, one day, he got into huge trouble that he himself could not get out of and got himself killed. That would explain why Simba is very overprotective of Kiara as he doesn't want her to suffer the same fate as her late brother.

Honorable Mention: The Lion King Incest Theory - This is something I just thought of or maybe somebody already thought of it, but here's one I think everyone should think at least once. There's some incest going on in the world of The Lion King. We see lots of lionesses, but not much lions. There's only three we see in the movies. Scar, Mufasa, and Simba. We have Nala and we don't know who her father was. And there's only one explanation for that and either Mufasa or Scar is her father. So, early on. Simba and Nala are half siblings. And of course, Kiara and Kova are cousins as well.

The entire theory beyond Land before time is interesting; and I remember during the development of the movie, they cut a lot of scenes to the movie so it could receive a lower rating, I think about ten plus minutes of content?
