oops should i up the prices on the eggs a bit?? by Dogmeat
i have one more to go but you get the idea
currently they're at $15 but they're turning out a bit more time consuming then i think 15 bucks is worth ;;; should I up the prices on them for the next batch, and if so, by how much?
I was thinking between 20-25, but what do you guys think? Or should I stick with 15? are they even buyable at a higher price?? ahhh

yeahh that's what i was thinking, that people may be put off if its higher because they dont know what they're getting?? i try to inject a bit of the buyer's tastes into it however (like looking through their gallery), but no so much it compromises the design yanno? hmmm
i may think on this a bit, thank you for the input though! uvu

Maybe if you want to go closer to 25 and you are worried about selling, maybe you could offer them the choice of a theme. So like the egg is already a neat design theme, and then someone can give you a theme like "dinosaur" so they have a bit of control but you can still be as creative and fun with the design as you like!

Personally I think the lowest price you should charge is like $30.. theyre like full on ref sheets, and really inventive characters. I'd pay that much

i think 30+ would be more along the lines of a refsheet of someone's character specifically, since those need to be a bit more precise and these are really mostly fun haha. but they are definitely more then the 15 i'm charging, i may settle between 20-25 i think!
i'll take a bit after i finish this last one and see what i settle on. c: thankyou for the input!

I would say a price up would definitely be good! When I saw $15 I figured it'd just be like a single body image but those are really good references aa

I talked with my partner about it, and I think i've settled on something for now. We'll see how this second batch goes and maybe if i can speed up the pace to match uvu

I think you should charge what you feel you are worth, if you feel the eggs are worth $20 then charge that! I don't know if you would be able to go much over $20, and not because your art isn't worth it because it very much is, but when you're selling the egg people don't know what they're getting and some people might be turned off from being afraid that what they get isn't what they wanted. HOWEVER, that's probably not a large portion of people and anyway you never really know until you try! If you raise to $25 and they don't sell either decided the work to price ratio isn't good enough and stop or lower your prices a bit if you want.
Anyway, I do think they are worth at least $20!
