Reference question by Hurbles

Does anybody know any place where I can find some reference photos or drawing of german military uniforms. I'm looking for the uniforms between the rise of the Prussian Empire and the End of World War One. Most of the stuff I've found is just the simple grey uniforms with the dumb pickelhaubes. I've seen stuff that is more flamboyant and ornate, but I'm having trouble finding those. I really love German history and I was going to try and use those types of uniforms for more 'world building' and to help with designs. Any tip is helpful

If you're willing to spend the money or hunt around for copies, your best bet (off the top of my head) is the publisher Osprey. You can get some very precise books with plenty of drawings. You might do well enough just looking through their website, although most of their online stuff seems to be behind a paywall.

Oh my, these drawings are great. I'm definitely going to get one of these books. Thank you for the tip!
