so it's that time of year again where i have to deal with my crippling phobia of wasps and bees!

I've been burned with hot fryer oil plenty of times, stuck my hand in an oven, and nearly chopped my toe off with an axe, and yet i'm not even one bit scared of fryers, ovens, or axes, all three of which must hurt exponentially worse than being stung by anything, and yet whenever one of those small bugs gets anywhere near me i totally lose control of my body. it's unbelievably embarrassing.

i can't go out and enjoy this beautiful weather because of the constant fear.
sometimes i don't even take my dog outside when he wants to go because of it; and when i do take him out i stand right beside the door and jerk him back in at the first sign of bugs.

last night i had another nightmare about wasps.

this is really getting out of hand. I think i should see a therapist or something.

i realize i'm posting this on april fools day, but this is nowhere near a joke...i wish it were.
