So, here we are on the eve of April Fool's. DeviantArt and Google Maps have their jokes up already, while other sites wait to reveal what amusement they have in store for us. However, some things just aren't a joke.

I'm launching a new web venture; more of a social experiment, really. I want to see if I can create a forum-based venue for people to get together and share rooms at furry conventions. The initial idea is fairly simple - I'll be putting up a forum site with entries for various upcoming cons, and all you have to do is sign up and start a thread saying you'll have a room available.

That isn't the personal request, though. I am one dragonfox on a mission to engage in this social experiment - one dragonfox who is not socially adept and who will more often be working on a multitude of projects at the same time as maintaining the project.

I need You. All of You. I need help spreading the word over the coming weeks as I prepare the site for its initial launch. Help finding any upcoming conventions I may have missed. Community moderators, to make sure conversation remains relatively civil. Programmers, who can do advanced projects that I can't.
