Hallo hallo
Sorry for my sporadic postings, been a while since I really got any personal/clean art done to post onto this account. I just got some new copic markers yesterday though and have been diligently looking for someone to get a commission of them... however, the endeavor has not been fruitful, so I'll instead just try for a request of something that sounds interesting to me, if only so I can at least have a chance to play with the markers again.
So, leave your comments for requests below, I'll pick one or two that I like from here and other sites, then work on them.
Ciao~
Do the dreamweavers have a wide variety of colourings? I could only find two coloured examples in your uploads (I probably missed some), one was White-Greyish with blue highlights, the other was Dark grey/blue. Assuming they can come in almost any colourings, hmmmm, perhaps a Deep purple with maroon/red highlights? Keep in mind, I don't really have an eye for good colour schemes so feel free to disregard that and choose a better one :3
Well, each dreamweaver color has different abilities.
There are Azures (Blue) (ex. Zander)- they are very skilled at healing.
Topaz (yellows and browns) (ex. Jesse) - They are very artistic and skilled at crafting
Amethyst (purples) (Haven't posted a good example) - They are strong fighters, usually a bit larger in stature
Emeralds (Greens) (ex. Kudzu) - These are very good at using their dream magic and are usually halfway between the waking and dream world.
And lastly, Diamonds (ex. Weaver Kori) - These ones are very, very rare and are skilled in all of the afore mentioned fields.
All the weavers have some power over dreams, though Diamonds and Emeralds are by far the best.
Color patterns can very drastically between the colors, but usually their racial color is dominant in the scheme.
Since it looks like I'm going to be adopting a dreamweaver, I have a couple more expository questions. I have seen weavers drawn in both a feral and anthromorphic form, do they all have the ability to shift between those shapes, or is one of those shapes the form they use while inside dreams? Having power over dreams, what do they typically use it for? Observing? Helping? Manipulating? I seem to recall they have an opposite race, the nightmares? Do you have expository pamphlets?
Weavers can shift between the two forms, their humanoid/kemonomimi forms and the feral Asian Dragon-esque form at will, though they cannot access their humanoid form until they are 5 years old and they are generally more comfortable feral. Usually their magic is used to chase away nightmares, each weaver uses their powers for different reasons, but always for helpful reasons. They can enter dreams, alter them, create them etc. And yes, Nightmares occur either from a weaver being tainted psychologically by life events into insanity, or dark magic, or born of two nightmare parents (which is really rare since first gen nightmares are generally too insane to get along with eachother.) as for outside resources to use, I don't really have anything, it's just in my noggin.
Yay for more details :3
Also, child weavers sound adorable <3
I suppose the image of Kori as a pup is an example of what they look like until they grow up a bit.
Yeah x3, pups are pretty stubby and chubby, then gradually stretch out and become elegant as they age.
Here ya go! I'll get you a better scan once I'm back at the apartment ~ https://www.dropbox.com/s/8n0wkkc528mpnhu/2014-03-30%2000.36.23.jpg

I would love the opportunity to commission clean traditional art from you. If either of these ideas appeal I'd be more then happy to pay one or both of them.
