Earthquakes by insanejoker
Holy shit there was like 60000000 earthquakes just now. a 5.1 which I felt and lasted for a bit, then a gazillion aftershocks. A bigger one might be on the way. I stood in the hall for that and I was like HNNNGG OMMGGG
I can't decide what's worse: earthquakes, or tornadoes.

So true.
As we speak there's been over 30 aftershocks (smaller earthquakes). I WILL NOT SLEEP TONIGHT.

Oh jesus... that's gotta be scary. I've never had an earthquake because I live too far away from where they happen but it sounds really terrifying. ;_;

I know. The big ones were like OHSHITRUN, but they're super small now, so I don't really feel them as much. Those are just like someone stomping around the floor. People are a bit worried though XD

It's more a worry a bigger one is coming. So it's like aaahhh. So far there is damaging from things falling (and a lot of wine lost at a trader joe's, it's just a pile of red liquid and the employee is just like not caring about it yet XD), but no official deaths or anything drastic like that.

Y'all are making me not want to come back to the west coast.. x_x; I can deal with tornadoes, blizzards, hurricanes, and thunderstorms, but stuff like mudslides and earthquakes is insanely unnerving. Hope everyone's okay.

Ahaha! At least earthquakes have a higher chance of survival than a hurricane or tornado ;>> Once that tornado gets you you're gonnne. But yea, nothing more unnerving than feeling everything shake XD Everyone is ok, I think there were some injuries in a car accident and some power was lost, but nothing super serious. :)

Honestly, I think they are both equal but in terms of damage an earthquake can be far worse because it can split the earth. Tornadoes only destroy what's on the surface.
