not for like... preparing for the conventions (which I'm sure it is for several people) but for me, I LOVE seeing convention photos and hearing stories, etc. I would do anything to be a part of the fun.

What's hard about this for me is that I'm so far away from all those conventions... it's genuinely upsetting because even if I did save up, I couldn't go. I'm horribly far away from conventions, and the closest one is in Seattle... right smack dab in the middle of my first year of college...

I have no friends I could go with or any friends I could meet at the convention to stay with, I'm a stranger to most furs...

I could sell art at one to make up for the cost it takes to get there, but I know for a fact that my art isn't even remotely at that point yet. I'm not recognizable and it's hard for me to get commissions as is. I couldn't imagine even selling premade stuff, as much as I like my pieces. I tried this sort of deal at Everfree NW, and I got rejected for being 17 and slots closing (even though I emailed the heads of the convention FAR ahead of time asking if there would be an issue... they said no.)

I would do anything to be at a place like FWA right now....
