Let's get some things out of the way first and foremost:

I saw spiderman skateboard down Younge street in downtown Toronto. ALL THE ARGUMENTS ARE INVALID FOREVER.

That said:

I went into Furnal Equinox something of a bundle of nerves and nervousness and shyness.

Why? NEW!Country and NEW!group and no one I knew going to Furnal Equinox other than Shujintribble. I was somewhat.....wound into a knot.

I drove up with jackalopejess and within an hour of arrival was...politely invited (hey, they're Canadians after all) onto staff. (This is now Witchie's law: Given enough time at any given convention, I will either volunteer or be drafted to be staff)

This only became worse once Shujin arrived and began insisting that I meet ALLLLLL the people.

Now....bunny in new situations? Very shy. VERY shy. Run away shy. Fortunately for Shujin, Tiny Tribble was running interference on my escape routes.

The good news is I did eventually come out of my shell. I met some amazing people, had an absolute blast and look forward to helping to make next year as awesome as this one was. I'm very glad I went.
