For my birthday I am going to be drinking some alcohol and baking some cheese cakes to enjoy! :D
I had so much fun! I was so stuffed yesterday with pizza, beers and wines! I did wanted to make my cheesecake on my birthday, but I forgot an ingredient. So I am making it today! ^^
I have my eyes on these artists :3 :

I know right?! :D Bit-Bite surprised me also by wishing me happy birthday! It was so great hearing everyone wishing me a happy birthday! It just brings a tear to my eye! ^^
awwe ;u; well that's awesome! lol bit-bite just watched me back after i watched them XD
but that's fantastic ;u; i'm glad you got so many will-wishes for your b-day ;u;
That is awesome! Glad you and Bit-Bite are watching each other! :D
Thank you, whocrysforthestars! Even it surprised me with all the gift pictures people gave me! It was so sweet of them! ;_; Hugs you
I did upload a few things on my FA that people sent me on my birthday! :3 I wish I could relive my birthday! ^^
lol right XD couldnt we all?
i solve that problem by acting like a child (to an extent XD hahaha)
nah, i just get really nostalgic, play old games, watch cartoons.. that sort of thing
Yeah! XD
Even I still play my old games, still watch 90's cartoons, and nostalgic about old things. Like remember those square scooters back from Elementary school?! :D
It was so fun!! I remember we had to do that butt-shuffle thing, and our teacher even made an obstacle course for us to scoot around! I will never forget that!
Or remember the giant "parachute" where the kids would grab the outer ring and you would have to run across to the other side before it comes down on you?!
OH MY GOD YES! the parachute was the best ;u; especially when the whole class would flip it up, and one person at a time would run under it while the class tried to trap them inside XD.. or even when we'd all flip it up and quickly sit inside on the edges and wait for it to deflate on us XD
I miss the good old days! It was always fun playing with those! And even more nostalgic for you, remember School House Rock and The Magic School Bus AND Bill Nye The Science Guy!? :D
oh yeah XD me too!
and i got a TON of small things about horses, or little how-to-draw things..
and if i could get my hands on them, zoo-books XD i've long since given
them away to the kids down the street
I wish I got a few how to draw books so I could be an artist. Oh man, I remember Zoo-books! Aw dang, do you miss them since you given them away? ;_;
i do ;n; the zoo books at least.. and a couple of the drawing books.. they were super rad..
but hey, there are other ways you can learn to art :) it's all about the practice!
Even another friend has told me to practice to get better at art. I just dont really know where to begin on drawing bodies and fantasy stuff. ^^;
start with tutorials :) i'm sure i can find you some, and even drop in at the beginning of an artist's livestream. simply watching how they draw things out tends to help wrap your mind around the beginning concepts
well, they are two totally different animals (no pun intended) both have a range of styles and techniques that you can use, but traditional is a wonderful way to start (especially if you're drawing from life) as opposed to digital, it's a lot easier to get a feel for textures of objects and pressure of line weight (you can do this in digital as well, but it takes a while to learn the tricks) i would suggest traditional though, not because it's "easier", but because grasping the concepts of art through a physical medium is a gateway to other forms of art.
Alright, I will keep trying to get better at traditional. Just sometimes it feels like it is hopeless and I never get better. :c
i know hun :< it can be hard, but you can only get better if you try :) and dont worry, i'm down on myself about my art too sometimes :I there's always room for improvement
You're welcome! :3
It it just when I see my art, I know I dunno how to get better and draw fantasy stuff (things in my head). But when I see other people's work, it is amazing! It makes me wonder how did they build and skyrocket into that lovely talent. ;_;
i feel you.
i stand by the "practice" thing though :)
are you taking any college classes? maybe take
up a drawing class :) if you get a good teacher,
you'll be able to loosen up and just go with it,
and when you run into a bump they'll help you
get past it :3
Well I did attend college, though they didn't really focus on the drawing aspect but more so in just creating nice detailed images, which was easy for me because it was things around me that I drew. I wish to draw fantasy stuff, and they didn't really teach that. If I could, I wish I had a teacher now. ^^
