Performance on Friday was fantastic. I kicked ass, if I say so myself. :3 (And I had a ton of people come find me after the show to tell me the same, too.) And everyone loved the tail and ears and the way they were hidden until the end of the act.
My mentor was all verklempt and telling me how far I'd come, d'aww.
Plus I picked up some pokemon games for cheap at Movie Trading Company, so all in all, a solid weekend.

Haha! Yeah, all else fails, finish with a flash. Since this was a 'go from noob to burlesque performer' class, we had a lot of tutoring and panels for critique to kind of tell us where we were going too fast or too slow, and a limit on how long our songs could be. I think it turned out pretty well!

Last burlesque show I saw was at a horror convention in new Orleans. They were doing tributes to all of the classic monsters. One performer was doing one for the wolfman and hid the tail and ears as well. She did a good job but spent a little too much time on it. Right at the end of the song she realized it was going slow then just took her top off lol. Still a well done show though.
