Really now? I mostly just use steam to chat with my buds, since I rarely have anyone chatting much on Skype. Also I play those two games as well. Kinda suck at it too so I know what you mean. :V

DUDinyidsu I wanted to add you BUT FOR SOME REASONS my steam's page was in german haha dude what (i'll fix this later) - well I use my computer mostly for work, so, i'm not playing a lot of games on computer because i'm trying to preserve it, haha. So except Diablo 2 and Age Of Empires, I guess, I don't play much vidyagame. Though, I consider buying starbound because it doesn't take a lot of memory

I usually use mine for personal stuff but also college stuff from time to time. And for gaming, I use it as well but I also have a console and I play them sometimes. Running the internet on there sucks on there but I manage sometimes. But yeah if you have a skype, I can add you on there. Also a good game you can buy that doesn't take up a lot of memory is Binding of Isaac.
