Between the whole Zaush debacle on Fur Affinity and overall random furry drama, I've found it less compelling to stay on furry sites.

I've taken the last few weeks to think about my place here and if it's worthwhile to even stay, considering the my main reason for being here is for the promotion of my comics and it's characters (Draggyn and such). While technically a "furry" themed comic series, it's still something I feel could be more successful if aimmed at a mainstream audience. Despite having done a lot of fetish/porn material of them, I want the series' characters to be thought of as comedy icons, not fetish material.

That said I'm not withdrawing them from the furry scene, at all. This fandom is where they made their start, and it would be wrong to take them away from the people who supported them. But at the same time, it will be a new start for these guys. While they will be here and on other furry sites, they will also be published outside the fandom, mostly on Tumblr (with posts on Facebook & Twitter linking back to Tumblr).

Which brings me to my new Tumblr account. I have two blogs at the moment. The primary one is Hatch's Tumblr of Stuff and Things, which is for miscellaneous posts / rants / etc, and the second is the Draggyn Comics blog, which is where all the Draggyn comics are being posted.

If you have a Tumblr account, you can follow the blogs for instant updates, or if you do not have a Tumblr account, there's an RSS feed you can also subscribe to.

You can also comment on any of my Tumblr posts, for either blog, using the built in Disqus system which allows you to comment using a Disqus, Facebook, Twitter, or Google+ account. Comments posted on the blogs are not posted on the site that your account is from unless you tick a checkbox stating you wish for that to happen, so don't worry, your privacy is safe.

Please keep in mind these blogs are now where my primary focus is, and Tumblr will have timed exclusivity for new comics/posts, in an effort to promote it's presence on that platform. Weasyl and other furry sites may now get updates approximately about a week after Tumblr does.

TL;DR: My Comics and Art are being promoted primarily on Tumblr from now on, but will still be posted here a while afterward.
