So I'm finally able to attend a convention again, and the prep work for it as been a little crazy. Blowing through money just a little bit too fast for my personal taste, but vacations are rarely cheap and this one is gonna be worth it. I know I'm going to try my hand at doing convention videos again, but they're going to be either really small and numerous during the con or just one big piece uploaded a day after the con. Most of the reason for this is while doing these for AC 2012, I found out that CPU-based 720p video rendering takes FOREVER!!! and that it's just a royal pain to do all of the editing with my current hardware. I'm leaning more to doing a bunch of small vids as I'll be able to get content out faster, often within 5 minutes of something happening. I have planned accordingly for this, with a 32GB Class 10 SD card ordered for my phone and a 9000mAh Anker Astro to keep my phone and tablet running all day long. I'm also planning on meeting the 'other' Sable, former Palmetto fur whose moved over to DFW, SableGryphon and seeing what sort of havok two gryphons of the same name can wreak upon the world. All in all, this is shaping up to be a very very fun trip and I hope to see a lot of people there. Don't be afraid to say hello.
