I'm giving Patreon a shot. I really don't see a down side and as long as payment works as stated, it's a really good system. I like the idea of an organized "tip jar" that people can show their appreciation for all my work instead of a specific project, and I can offer goodies in return.

Right now the patron levels are straight up donations. Once I figure out the logistics of producing and delivering goodies in digital and tangible form, additional levels and updates will be made. There will probably be something like a swag-a-month sort of deal (offering bookmarks, buttons, keychains and things of that nature), opportunities for original artwork, etc.
