So to make a long story short (and not go into detail about all the other things that happened in the last 2 days that life decided to take a big steaming dump on), my computer's Hard Drive died. Like, totally dead, can't boot up into safe mode, can't access data on it in any way, nothing. I do have a back-up, but it hasn't been hooked up since mid-november so anything that was stored there (and not online) in the last 3 months is lost in the eNether.

I took it to the Apple store yesterday afternoon and they said they could repair it AND the battery which has been giving me a "please service now, dummy" error for over a year, but it'll cost almost 4 hundred bucks.

I can do it, even if just barely, but the unfortunate fact is that now all the commissions I have on my to-do list that are digital have to be pushed back ANOTHER week. As if delays from apartment hunting weren't enough, right? ;^_^

And for those of you who have ordered digital commissions from me, I am so so SO sorry about this! A couple of you have been e-mailed previews, which I can use to "reboot" your commission where I left off so not much will have been lost. If you haven't heard from me yet, I haven't had the chance to start, so nothing has been lost yet. I'll get back to work on your stuff once I get the computer back. This was totally out of my control, but it still totally sucks and I feel bad making you wait even longer, and I hope you can be patient with me while I get things sorted. ;^_^

Lastly, if you guys aren't able to get something yourself but know someone who might be interested in my work and ordering something for themselves, I would GREATLY appreciate it if you could spread the word!
