NOPE by ToxicCyberWolf

Since the campus is closed and on a different schedule, they're serving brunch this morning. Therefore, I was going to make the trek across campus to go get some food. I didn't think it would be that bad outside, but I was wrong.

ICE IS EVERYWHERE!!!

I came out of the back door of my dorm building and immediately went, "Holy shit."

The back porch wasn't cleared off at all. Then I actually looked on the ground at how high the snow was and assumed it was a good 4-7 inches. Enough for most of my boot to sink down. Took the first step out and nearly ate it. Once I finally made it to the little side street, which was in a very thick layer of ice, I carefully maneuvered past it.

Once I got to the other side to look at the path I always (and many other students) take, I saw that NOTHING had been cleared. Plus no one else was outside either. Except one guy on the phone that had been standing in front of my dorm.

So after taking about 20 or so steps total outside from the dorm building, I sighed to myself and went back inside.

No brunch (or going back outside) for me today.

To all others that have to travel outside in this weather, stay safe.

NOPE
