Anthrocon!! by roro
I'm gonna be going to Anthrocon this year and I'm pretty excited. This will be my first furry con and I'm really looking forward to meeting some of yall! :3
I'm not entirely sure what to expect. I've been to a handful of anime cons, but I feel like this'll be a little different than my past experiences at those. In part due to the crowd and also in part due to the fact that I've always been sequestered to the artist alley all weekend barely venturing out for more than food and water. I do wanna get in the artist alley a bit at AC, but I don't want to spend the whole time there.
I'm not entirely sure what all goes down at these cons with full disclosure, I'm aiming to find out.. come this summer

Ah bummer this is probably the one year I'm not doing AC ;(
It's a fun con just really big and overwhelming. It can be hard to meet up with people and hang out but is fun regardless.-
And forgot. The artist alley is great. Make sure to bring some examples of your work to lay out. You can display porn in notebooks with explicit warning signs, since it is a 'family' con. If they do it like last year you can just sign up on an empty table and sit down to art :3 it's a nice way to meet people

Aw! Thats too bad D: I would have loved to see you there! I have some a couple of people who want to show me around and introduce me to a bunch of people,so I'm excited about that heh. It can be very hard to me to meet people on my own, because I'm so quiet x-x
Yeah, I have been looking at the artist alley stuff will be doing the lottery thing. I can like leave the noteboooks closed and just put a label on the outside or am I still expected to put stickers over the peters? I know I'd have to do that to any displayed art

AC can be pretty crazy! For me, it's a big party where I always feel kind of over-stimulated because I'm bumping into somebody I know or who knows me every thirty seconds, but it's still exhilarating. Furry cons were pretty overwhelming for me at first, but once you get used to it, they're a pretty amazing time - I hope your experience is! I'll say hi if I bump into you (or if I'm in fursuit, prepare for an employee review)
