Hi there ^^
I just wanted to provide everyone with updates! I went to LvlupCon and got my first commissions. Yaaaay! I was super nervous at first, and on the first day I didn't feel so hot. Lack of sleep and waking up early kind of does that. :( But then the 2nd day I was unknowingly sick. However, I had a much better time because I had gotten more sleep. :D But it was fun, a bit of a confidence booster, and I paid off my table so I didn't lose any money. Phew. >>
I was thinking of setting up commissions on my art websites and see how well that went. An art website is a lot bigger of a place though, so I'm worried I won't get any biters without first generating some traffic. I'll be working on that, and in the meantime making some examples. :)
Thanks so much to everyone who reads these journals and watches my art by the way! I may seem quiet, but I'm always appreciative.

Definitely. I think a little bit of consistency goes a long. Hopefully I can manage that with my busy schedule. I have what I want to offer as well as basic prices figured out. I just need to pit everything together onto one commission sheet as well as pull examples together. ^^ asking commissioners to help advertise sounds like a good idea. Thanks for the advice! What kind of social groups were you talking about?

I think the key is to keep working on it and have the advertisement of the prices and terms, etc, all set up to be seen and easy to find on your user page. Other than that, usually social groups, friend features, and sometimes simply requesting those who do commission you to feature it will help spread you about. ^ ^
