I'm also called Shinobu or Shino on other sites. I'm a freelance artist and currently engaged to my soulmate. I'm doing commissions to save up money for the wedding and I'm also saving up money to start a homestead farm. Hoping to get off the grid and live as nature intended. Getting my carbon footprint off the world and stuff. We're intending on doing the farm as organic as possible, we're even building our house out of cob (sand, clay and straw) using as much recycled and salvaged materials as we can.

We had intended on leaving in April to start preparing for seeding our crops, but my mom got into a wreck (using hubbie's car) in December and the car was totalled in the crash. Mom was fine (thank God, if you saw the pictures, you'd be amazed) but with our car in a pretzel, we're stranded until we can afford to get a new one. Hoping to be able to afford a pick-up truck or something suitable for farmwork (until we can get horses to make the whole process natural). The more commissions I can generate, the sooner we can start packing and heading out to start :3
