Hey!
First of all, thank you all so much for following me or checking out my page! It's good to see so many familiar faces here.
I just wanted to let you guys know that I'll probably be uploading some photography here as well. Since I intend to slowly become more and more active on this site (hoping it will remain alive and not run dry), and this place also welcomes art other than talking animal drawings, I thought it'd be a great place for it.
I am not a professional photographer by any means, but I have enjoyed taking photos for years and I feel like it's a shame if they just sit on my harddrive without being shared with anyone. I hope me uploading photo won't bother any one of you, since I know most of you are here for the drawings. I am not sure if it's possible to only follow a user's specific folders? In any case, I will only upload photos sporadically, it won't flood my gallery and the majority will still be drawings. But boy, do I have some lovely animals, places and things I've seen that I'd love to share with you! If you name some random animal there's a pretty decent chance I took a photo of one at some point, haha.
You're always welcome to use my photos for studies, and if you post any finished art based on it, just share a link to the original :)
I take a lot of reference photos or photos 'for the memories', but I intend to only post the ones here that I consider pretty good. I don't want to post ten thousand pictures to my gallery XD
Eee, I appreciate the heck out of your photography! :D It's especially fun (for me, anyway) to see the exhibit construction in the many, many zoos you've visited.
I kinda miss doing those LJ posts! I sadly don't have the time anymore for massive photodumps like that. Maybe I will post exhibit photos here, but it kinda depends on if I think the photo is interesting enough by itself. At least that one from Tijuana is an example of the kind of architecture photography I'd upload. I have lots of photos of pretty buildings, but there are so many photos of the Eiffel tower online already... it's hard to make anything original.

Wonderful! I would love to see your photography (and ask respectively if I could use any for reference?). I went to the L.A. zoo recently and will upload some of what I have as well if you might be interested. They were more hum-drum animals though!
