So many of you might gather from my personal work that I'm writing a story by the name "Guilt." While not all of my OCs originate from this story, a very large percentage of them do. The dude and dragon in my current icon are actually the leading protagonist, Roger, and another important character, Nox.

I've been writing "Guilt" since early 2010 and it's remained an important and constant thing in my life since. I hope to one day publish it-- but I need to actually finish the thing first ahahhaha

I post this journal now because I've considered getting back into the habit of posting passages from "Guilt" online for public view-- perhaps even large, uncropped chunks of it.

When I first started writing this story, I was on a site called Sumopaint where I posted passages upon completion. While the story has changed a lot since then (god, those first, unedited attempts are painful to read over), the fact remains that when I was posting "Guilt" to Sumopaint, I was a lot more attentive with working on the story since having even a small amount of people interested in it-- some who were even kind enough to help with grammar and other flaws-- really boosted my confidence and desire to write.

I've slowed considerably with working on "Guilt" since tugging it from Sumopaint for large-scale edits. And I have kicked myself nonstop since, fighting between the desire to complete this story and a nagging sense of self incompetence.

But now I really want to buckle down with writing this story. I've said that many times to myself, but I want to mean it, and if posting at least portions of the story publicly is what it takes to renew that drive I once had, then by damn I'm prepared to do it.

So I hope that some of you are interested in fiction stories, because I'm really thinking of dumping mine here on Weasyl.
If any of you are interested, I can also try and come up with a nice summary of "Guilt" to see if it will peak any interest?
