Heya, everyone! I hope everyone's been doing well and having a great ol' time here on Weasyl. A new year, a new art website, right? Or even if you've been here before Weasyl became cool(er), I hope all's well. I'd like to thank those of you who chose to follow my account here. The artwork's mostly commissioned, but I think there might be a drawing or two by me hidden somewhere here. I might add a few more from back when I used to dabble in drawing, too. Don't expect anything spectacular, though! =D

Lance S. Duncan. My initials are a drug reference. My parents swore it wasn't intentional. Uh-huh. =D

How tall are you?
If I remember correctly, 5'6"

Brown. //checks a mirror//

Hazel-ish

What's your orientation?
Asexual biromantic, despite what I fave displaying a male preference.

Are you single, taken or undecided?
Single-tastic. =D (No wrong whatsoever with being single, though if you find that certain someone (or someones) who complements your life, that's also fantastic!)

What do you do in your spare time?
Sometimes I search for nifty restaurants to dine at, and I usually fine great ethnic ones. So far I've found Turkish, Indian, Vietnamese, Thai, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Greek, Afghan, and... blerg, I know I'm forgetting a thing or two. I occasionally cook things myself. I like meandering on the internet and reading up on nifty things, even if I won't remember it the next day, hah. Occasionally I'll play Ravensword: Shadowlands or Sine Mora on my OUYA.

What's your job or occupation?
Night auditor for a hotel.

What do you like about yourself?
Eh, I hate this part because I always feel like I'm bragging about myself or something. I usually let others say it for me, but... um... Giving. Generous. Understanding. Maybe compassionate?

What do you dislike about yourself?
When I explain things I tend to go to far with it. Or running with a joke too long and wearing it out to the annoyance of others. I have trouble putting thoughts to words, verbal or penned. (The computer's on but the printer's malfunctioning.) That I burn out so easily on things I enjoy doing, like writing. My dominant side conflicting with my lingering inferiority complex and rendering me passive-aggressive at times. Those bouts of feeling worthless and abandoned. The panic attacks I experience, and the constant lingering fear of having another, especially while driving. My difficulty in maintaining relationships, viewing all relationships as intrinsically transient, due to being left to my own after my sister was born as well as to having several "friends" turn on me during my school days because I was the outcast and they couldn't handle the mockery from being associated with me.

Er... I'm gonna stop there, heh.

What did your friends notice about you when they first met you?
One compliment I remember receiving was "You have a nice chuckle." I'll never forget that. =)

What is your belief/religion if you believe in anything at all?
Livin' la vida atea!

Do you drink?
Yes, you can't live without liquids! Maybe intravenously, but... wait... OH, you mean alcohol! Yeah, I drink that as well. Usually lambics and ciders, some beers and ales and lagers. Vodka and Jägermeister (original pine tree and new cinnamon flavor), Bärenjäger during the holidays, which I usually mix with egg nog. Meads and wines, too. (I had a Gewürztraminer recently, and it is a wonderful, sweet, fruity wine!)

Do you smoke?
I try not to set myself on fire, so.... OH! No, my parents did enough tobacco burning for me when I was growing up. =/

What are your major fears?
I have an anxiety disorder, so I have panic attacks now and again. They used to be more frequent when I was more strung out over things. Also, these tend to share the painful symptoms of heart attacks. So I always have this lingering fear of experiencing another one, which of course DOES NOT HELP! =D

Do you have any dreams or goals?
I guess my biggest goal or dream is to contribute something to society. It doesn't have to be something grand. But something nonetheless.

Have you ever had a crush or an ex?
Yes and yes.

Who's your best buddy?
This is a horrible question for me because I have a few that I enjoy for differing reasons.

What's your favorite dish?
Oh wow, right now it's pastitsio. If you don't know, look it up. If you've never had, find yourself a good Greek restaurant and BUY IT!

What's your favorite drink?
Non-alchy, rose lassi. Alchy, I dunno. It really does keep switching around on me. I'm still in love with the Gewürztraminer, so I'll go with that for now. =D

What's your favorite color?
Cerulean/cobalt blues to mid to dark purples and violets. Yes, that's a range of colors! Breakin' da rules!

If you had a super power, what would it be?
Fearlessness. It's not all that super, I know, but it would help me out a helluva lot!

What's your favorite movie?
Despite it all, I still keep coming back to "Secret of NIMH". Not the sequel. Never the sequel. There is no sequel.

What's your least favorite food?
Peas. I haven't been able to tolerate them for as long as I can remember, and the most traumatic memory was when I was about 5. A baby sitter forced me to eat some, and I puked all over the place. I taught her a lesson!

What's the last meal you want before you die?
Stuff me full of pastitio or dosa and I'll probably be all good to go!

What do you drive and what would you really like to drive?
I currently drive a '98 Ford Taurus station wagon. And... I dunno. Maybe a blue '68 Camaro.

What is your most disliked bug?
Hornets. When one stung me on the eyelid, it was game over!

What pet peeves do you dislike the most?
Drivers who don't use a turn signal.
People who are mean to animals.
Drivers who won't turn right on red (unless a sign specifically forbids it).
People who take forever to order food in line.
People who ramble on at length about everything in the world except for the answer to some simple, straightforward question I asked.
Movie sequels that are unnecessary.
People who don't or can't control their wild children.
People who assume you didn't consider all the facts and factors--or at least as many as is freely available--when making a decision, when in fact you in fact did.
Commissioners who don't know how to respect the artists whom they've commissioned.
Um... I'll stop there!

What do you dislike in life?
That the world seems to stack hatred and hopelessness and misinformation and misunderstanding against everyone, and on occasion it feels like a struggle to maintain one's own humanity.
