Hello everyone! Well I'm back from my trip around California. And oh my! What a trip so let's summarize it shall we?

Los Angeles family visit
First I spent time down in South LA and La Puente in Los Angeles as part of a family visit. In resume, the family down there is from my father's side, these are my uncles, his brothers (the ones I live with in Portland are from my Mom's side) who recently reconnected with my Mom via Facebook. I haven't seen them in over 20 years, and their sister, my only blood aunt, has also been in touch a lot with my Mom, I haven't seen her in 11 years as well. I had my doubts at first due to the incidents why I'm not too fond of my father, and getting comfortable around them when we first met was hard for me, however, we kinda had a good time, first when one of them visited me down in Portland, then when he was in Seattle during Rainfurrest and took time to meet with him.

So the plan was now to go down visit them. I told my uncle's up here and my grandfather, they all told me that even through they all dislike my father, they have nothing against his family and that they have good memories of these two other uncles, so they even suggested me to do this trip. Which to minimize time off and expenses I put it together along with FC as you can see.

Anyways, they picked me up at the airport, received me with open arms and everybody down there made me feel welcomed. Spent a few days in South LA where one lives with his family, then other days with the other uncle and his family in La Puente. We talked a lot about getting to technically know each others since the only memories they have of me is when I was just a little kid, they didn't even met my sister who is 24, so go figure. As for activities: food, movies, trips around LA and family nights. So we are up to a good reconnection here, they said when they can visit next time they will and even want to meet my uncles here and their families. Everyone likes the idea so we shall see how that goes around summer.

And since I was in the area, took a bit of time to go hang out with Desoto, Calico, Dirt and Bundingo. Karaoke at a gay bar in Long Beach (If you wanna know, I sang "Wannabe" and "Bad Romance" in fursuit). Thank you guys for the good times as well! ^^

[b]Further Confusion 2014[/b]
Now to the furry shenanigans. Thursday got dropped at LAX to head towards San Jose for FC2014. I had such an amazing time, although this con started really slow it picked up in the last couple days for me. The hanging crew this year was with Sulfer, Argent, Mike and and I blame them (mainly Sulfer) because, here comes an announcement: Toby's alternate form will be a dragon. :p

Yet I had fun roaming around and finding all the amazing locals: Modus, Nighty, Skit, Dzi, Sumanitu, Kaji, Sitku, Maowy, even Tricky! and the friends I don't get to see very often like Kanic, Dodger, DJWolf, Korkem, Dogbomb, Deth, Fibrekitty, Sampson, Stripey, Daiquiri, Clyde, Friendlyfox, Bart the Husky, Mikefolf, Chewy, Sirod, Ryger, so many! Got to meet in person Valmir, Househead and Fenrir/Rrowdy Beast (I completely went fangirl on him XD) who were nothing but amazing. Have to say most of them saw them like only once or twice, yet always nice to see them!

Consumption! 2 Owain badges, Contact Caffeine soaps, the Cheetahpaws calendar for Jake and a last round of Kitty Loves Monster swag. I'm really sad they are shutting down, I really love their products and just wish them for the best in the future.

The bad side for me is that the week before my trip I caught a stomach virus which still made its work during the con, so dealing with once in a while stomach pains was sometimes really painful. But eh, I survived. Didn't stopped me from drinking booze :p

And well, in general this trip, I really needed a time off like this. I'm back in Portland, fresh and ready to go. A bit in pain because of all the lovings Charlie provided when he saw me coming back ^^ Guess he missed me more than I missed him. And beleive it or not, already getting stuff taken care for Anthrocon.

Anyways, that's all I have for you for now. Gotta get back to do fursuits and artwork. Next con for me is Furlandia, sorry, no BLFC this year, have fun there and see you all later!
