        Yeah, it'd take nothing short of a borderline ethnic cleansing to kill FA, even if Weasyl is a nicer site with a wider variety of features; FA's a sort of web-tenure and longstanding history in the fandom. If they're dropped by means of the legal system, etc.; it's almost a guarantee that it'd crop up on a new domain and new host, just outside the jurisdiction of whatever legal entity took them down originally.

          actually it has something to do with DRAMA-somethingsomething a new admin who had bad stigma is revamping the site from scratch (for reals this time guys! o: )
          but in all honesty none of that is my concern, i'm actually surprised that there are actually a lot of people this time actually jumping ship.
          I've personally been hesitant of leaving because of the lack of community like there is on FA, but this site has actually looked very promising.

          All in all, why wait for FA to get better if this place is already good? I'm not really leaving FA but i might as well branch over here as well... and everyone else seems to have that idea (thought lots plan to cut off from FA in protest to the drama, but i don't believe a word they say)

            imo all those whiny people (fancy ols esp is making a huge stink) are all going to be back in a week or less. FA is too big and too much business for any popufur to jump ship and even remotely think they will make it anywhere else.

            theres a trend going on you see, the people LEAVING FA are artists, NOT commissioners. The commissioners are remaining where the bulk of the artists are, which is on FA. they're just going on a self defeating process and oh well, tough tits. if thats what they wanna do what do I care? more business for me.

            since thats all FA is to me.

              i have that same mentality, i'm both a commissioner and a commissioneem i like to lok at art and if/when all or the majority of the artists on FA were here, I'd probably migrate here too. The thing is, they aren't and the probably never will be. Tough tits.

              But instead of doing a whole ceromony like "OM GOING GO WEASYL AND IF YOU WANT TO SEE MY ART YOU'LL HAVE TO GO THHEERREEE~" well, people aren't going to give a shit if they don't want to move.

      the thing with chase is utterly obscenely vile. but I dont think Zaush did a damned thing. and some people are going utter asspies over it

        Doesn't much matter what a person did or didn't do. If adding on a mod/admin/iPod accessory and it throws up this much drama, something's gone awry enough to where you rethink such a thing. You can't do a decent job of being in a position like that if you cause such an uproar simply for EXISTING in that capacity.
