And about journal: I don't mind them so much actually. I mean, you can -browse- for journals here(I wouldn't have found your profile otherwise).
So even when you do stuff like just writing stuff it's still a good mean of being found out by people :)
Plus, I like when browsing for journals I can not only find pretty neat artists... but also neat one with things to say :)-
Here here! Having people discover you by your journals is amazing (plus it's a good way for people to get to know you, the person, before you get to look at the you, the artist.

It's a great way to generate social activity on this site which, in my opinion, will be even more critical for it's longterm success than even art. Though the best obviously will be a combination of both art and social activity with more than a little helping of business for both commission artists and commissioners(I've had artists complaining they couldn't get commissioners here, but then again on my own commission stream I've had commissioners complaining about being unable to convince artists they would like to commission here first to move to the website).

lol yeah xD Unfortunately i don't think the coding works with like images. It shows up in the preview but not the message after you've submitted a comment or whatever. I think the icons work...not sure yet xD

I was wondering the same thing. They had different codes for these, but seems like they've been changed since then. Now, I'm a bit confused.
