I saw that there was such a critical mass that Weasyl went down for a while. Disgruntled FA users overloaded their servers I guess.
Anyway, I fear that Weasyl could become corrupt if this site becomes the dominant furry site.
In other words, meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.
It happened in Russia when Putin took over, and before that when Stalin took over, and before that when the czars ruled.
Ironically, FA's dominance could very well prevent sites like Weasyl from becoming corrupt.

I'll be as active over here as I was over there - not very :-/ I'm good at watching but I usually don't say anything unless I have something worth saying.
Very happy to see artists (slowly) starting to take this place more seriously, I doubt it'll be soon but eventually a critical mass will make it a worthy competitor as far as community goes :)
