Hey guys!
Just a short journal because I see a lot of posts on other sites saying 'I wish weasyl were more active' and such!
Building a community begins slowly and awkwardly, but the more you talk, the more you encourage others to talk as well! Leave comments on pieces; start conversations with strangers! Get to know your neighbours!
If you start interacting, you set an example for those around you!
I know this seems alarmingly campy coming from me of all people, but I really want to see Weasyl thrive! I've been doing what little I can to socialize, but if we don't all do it together, we'll never have the community we want!
So get out there! Meet some people, reconnect with those jumping ship as well! Take this opportunity to get familiar!

actually, that's some pretty good advice! i've never actually thought of that :o
it's like if you move to a new neighborhood or apartment complex and never talk to a single person...the community dies and has to rely on the makers of it to organize anything...but if the members of the community actually talk to each other, you get neighbors talking to each other and saying hi and stuff :D
